It has been the desire of man , since the dawn of civilization, to express his ideas through sketches on rocks, painting on canvas or rocks, relives, statues , sculptures etc. These can be seen in rock caves and other Archeological and Epigraphic sites.
As the civilization developed ,man used different techniques to portray his ideas and Photo Techniques fell in its place and stay.
Photography has got application in all fields , like family functions, merry making, Medical, Astronomy, Space, Under water, Nuclear Science, War, Picturing at inaccessible areas and many more.
Photography is more enjoyable if practiced as an Art Form.
PURPOSE OF THIS BLOG
We are now living in an era of Digital Technology. Photography has become so common today and right from School going children, to elders including house wives own Digital Camera. Taking Photos is so simple and fun nowadays, as even Mobile phone sets are provided with camera. Moreover, there is no recurring expenditure after taking photos as they are downloaded in computers and stored for future viewing.
It is quite common habit with many who own Digital Camera , to leave the camera in cupboards after first couple of usage, and take them out only rarely.
The reason being that photography is yet to be considered as an art form by many.
There is saying that those who appreciate an art will learn faster.Photography too is not an exception for the above saying.
Reviewing and studying the works of great Photographers will certainly help improve knowledge in the Photographic Art.
